Sunny Isles Beach 2nd Annual Offshore Powerboat Challenge Weekend - June 11-14, 2009

The Sunny Isles Beach Offshore Powerboat Challenge Weekend is hitting town the weekend of June 12th. To kick off the weekend, the 2nd Annual Bimini Memorial OCEAN RACE will take place from breathtaking Sunny Isles Beach down to Bimini and back. Following the Bimini race on Friday, June 12, there will be a 6 p.m. victory parade of boats, followed by a festival of food, drinks, live entertainment, and a not-to-miss bikini contest at Haulover Park racing village. Event sponsors include the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Sunny Isles Beach Resort Association, Miami Dade Parks and Recreation Department and the Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort, conveniently situated less than a mile from the racing village.
