What's Hot...

New World Art Auction & Exhibition - December 4th
Miami's New World School of the Arts has produced many talented artists who are now know exhibiting their work in galleries and museums across the globe. These same alums have now come together to “give back” to the institution that made them realize their dream. Curated by New World School of the Arts faculty Fredric Snitzer, the Alumni Art Auction and Exhibition showcases the work of 23 NWSA alums. The complete collection of artworks will be made accessible to guests via a silent auction to be held on opening day. Pictured at left is a painting by NWSA alum, Hernan Bas, entitled "Lucifer Falling" 2008. The Alumni Art Auction will be held during the exhibition opening reception on Thursday, December 4, 8 p.m. – 10 p.m., with a VIP invitation-only preview at 7 pm. The exhibition runs through Jan. 23, 2009. New World Gallery, 25 NE 2nd Street, downtown Miami.

Holiday Happy Hour Spa Menu

Aquanox at Trump International Beach Resort As the holiday season descends, Aquanox, the Trump International Beach Resort’s full-service spa, offers a special Holiday Happy Hour spa menu designed to re-charge your batteries. At the stroke of 6 o’clock, the spa switches gears as the music fades from Zen to upbeat and presents the Spa Holiday Happy Hour on Friday, December 5th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Clients are welcome to chill out with complimentary cocktails, snack on scrumptious hors d’ oeuvres and get in the holiday spirit in between mini “spa-bar” treatments, which include:

The Grinch Martini Facial – Well… In Whoville they say, that this facial made the Grinch’s small heart grow three sizes that day.

Candy Cane Scrub – Toxins build up in the hands and feet. Scrub them away with this sweet candy treat!

MistleTOE’s Hand & Foot Massage – Sitting under the mistletoe, my tired feet about to blow, shoppers lurking everywhere, someone came and kissed me there.

Champagne Holiday – A head, neck and shoulder massage. Relaxing relief, a bubbly recharge.
