Fright Night in the Grove

Scarefest House of Horror in the Grove:
October 2 – November 2
Coconut Grove is always a great place to spend Halloween. This year, the University of Miami gets the party started with Scarefest House of Horror - a gigantic haunted house located on the second and third floors of CocoWalk. Grab your friends and enter if you dare! There will be two huge floors of terror, a live cast of characters, 15 themed rooms, animatronics, professional lighting and sound and much more. Special Family Nights (a “less scary” experience for kids ages 7-12) will be held on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m.

Holy Guacamole!

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill Expands Menu
Fans of Lime Fresh Mexican Grill have a few new recipes to try out. This popular (and healthy) fast food Mexican restaurant opened its first store on Alton Road in South Beach. Now, Lime Fresh has added Baja Style Fish Tacos to its menu, as well as the 8th Street Burrito – a flour taco with grilled chicken, homemade black beans, rice, crispy bacon, sour cream and pico de gallo. For kids, Quesadillas are now available in half portions. There are two Miami locations and two Broward locations.

Karu & Y Re-opens
Karu & Y, the glamorous downtown night club located near the Arsht Center, has reopened and is better than ever. Many cool spaces – indoors and out – invite exploration, including cozy cabanas, a VIP room with a circular vibe, Tottem Gardens outdoor lounge with towering date palms and sexy lighting, and a gourmet restaurant set to open in November.
