Texas de Brazil
Miami Beach's only Brazlian steakhouse, Texas de Brazil, is now open Monday through Friday for lunch. Between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., guests can choose one of two lunch rate offerings: a continuous-service lunch for $27.99, light lunch special for $22.99 for those with a smaller appetite. The lunch will offer 9-10 cuts of Texas de Brazil's succulent gourmet meats, cooked in the traditional Churrascaria style. Choices include: House specialty Picanha; Brazilian Sausage; Leg of Lamb; Chicken Breast wrapped in Bacon; and Parmesan Pork Loin. Mozart Mania

Mainly Mozart Festival 2008 - May 11 - June 29
Coral Gables has many excellent cultural offerings throughout the year. One of them is the Mainly Mozart Festival , whose pleasing venue is the cool, marble rotunda of the historic bank building now known as the Westin Colonnade Hotel. Concerts take place every Sunday at 4:30 p.m., and there is a special children's concert at the end of the festival, on June 29th, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets to all shows are $15, and you can head out to one of Coral Gables' many excellent eateries after the concert.

Summer Shorts Festival 2008 - May/June
City Theatre produces this popular annual short play festival. This year, Summer Shorts has spawned two new "shorts" festivals - one for kids and one for grownups. From June 12-22, check out Shorts 4 Kids: A Festival of Fun for Kids of all Ages, which includes a participatory improvisation segment, post-show talk-back with the cast and creative activity book to help children pen their own 'short' plays. From June 6-22, enjoy a new, "racier" short play series, called Under Shorts: Late Night Shorts with an Edge. For adults only,
this roster of plays pushes the envelope with social and political material that is reflective of the times. The Summer Shorts Festival 2008 runs May 29-June 22 at Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Miami.
