Don’t miss…

Taste of the Garden – Jan. 30
If you can’t make it to South Beach Wine & Food Festival or can’t take the crowds, here’s a smaller scale food fest to check out. This event raises money for the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, which is where the event takes place. Tickets are $35; $45 at the door and include valet parking. For tickets and information, call (305) 673-4166. Time: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

What’s New

Hidden Gem

Zeke's Roadhouse
A true bargain on Lincoln Road, Zeke's Roadhouse is described by many locals as their favorite beer garden. The no-frills, cash-only bar serves up more than 80 kinds of beer for just $3 a glass. Hot dogs and wine are available, too. There is no outdoor service and no hard liquor served, but that shouldn’t be a problem if you’re looking for a quick beer with your friends. And you’d better behave yourself – the bar owner doesn’t put up with rowdies. Zeke's Roadhouse, 625 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach; tel: (305) 672-3118.
